Dear esteemed lecturers and participants,

Your health and well-being are of utmost importance to us. In light of the recent COVID-19 outbreak and the DORSCON Orange status, the team at PYTB2020 has put in place these changes:

  1. Semi-Finals/Finals (23 May 2020 from 9-1pm)

    • Participants will gather in their homes and pitch live via a live streaming platform. Teams will be informed of their schedule of presentation. Teams will then be shortlisted to participate in a live pitch in the final round.
    • Prize winners will be announced on our website: youngtrailblazers.net within a week, and the prizes will be mailed to them.

Your health and well-being are of utmost importance to us. In light of the recent COVID-19 outbreak and the DORSCON Orange status, the team at PYTB2020 has confirmed to changed the dates of the competition.

  1. Hackathon 1 (27 June 2020)
    • Participants are to participate in the hackathon within the compounds of their institutions.
    • Video/live streaming will be utilized for competition training sessions on that day.
    • Mentors will proceed to the respective institutions for direct mentoring of teams.
  2. Hackathon 2 (18 July 2020)
    • Participants are to participate in the hackathon within the compounds of their institutions.
    • Video/live streaming will be utilized for competition training sessions on that day.
    • Mentors are to head down to your institutions to mentor the teams.
  3. Semi-Finals/Finals (15 Aug 2020)
    • Participants will gather in their institutions and pitch live via a live streaming platform. Teams will be informed of their schedule of presentation. Teams will then be shortlisted to participate in a live pitch in the final round.
    • Prize winners will be announced on our website: youngtrailblazers.net within a week, and the prizes will be mailed to them.
  4. On-site visits to the respective industries to understand the problem statement (Optional)
    • The industry mentors will do a live online tour of the site (where available)
    • Mentors will conduct a live Q&A session online.
